Website for Apple Creek Farm
We collaborated closely with Abby from Apple Creek Farm in Bowdoinham, Maine to design a new Shopify website. The new farm e-commerce website features:
✔️ Custom design: Our team used custom code to design every detail on the website following the farm’s new branding by Farmrun, and photography by Kelsey Kobik and Chip Dillon.
✔️ Product configuration: We set up the farm’s variety of products with different fulfillment options tailored to each product — including meat and eggs for local pickup, shippable hides, and a buy-down CSA.
✔️ Recipe section: We built in a recipe area that’s easy to update, so the farm’s customers are continuously inspired to try their products with ideas on how to prepare them at home.
✔️ Farm news & events: We added a section for news and events, where customers can stay up to date with what’s new on the farm, seasonal products, and more; plus its great for SEO! We also set up an Eventbrite account for Apple Creek Farm, so they can easily link to ticket sales from their event posts.
Since the website is built on Shopify, all of the e-commerce functionality along with the full website live together under one roof — and inventory is shared seamlessly with the Shopify POS. Shopify also makes it friendly for farmer Abby to update text and images across the site as it continues to evolve. (We’re always here to help, too!)
