Increase Sales & Save Time

Your website is a direct line to more customer sales, so it needs to be built right. A professional website not only saves you time, but it also ensures that you get the most value possible — a website that increases sales by performing well in Google and doing a good job of “converting” website visitors into customers for your farm or food business.

We’ve been building websites for farms and food businesses for over 10 years, so we know what works. Whether you need e-commerce or a non-ecom website to sit alongside your farm storefront software, our team is here to help. Check out example websites at the bottom of this page.

Farm Website Platforms

We’re a Shopify Partner, a Square Partner, a Squarespace Circle Member, and a GrazeCart Recommended Consultant. We maintain extensive documentation on farm e-commerce platforms — you tell us about your needs and we’ll help you choose the right platform!

The images below contain referral links. When you click on a referral link and make a purchase, Grapevine receives a small commission at no cost to you.

💡 We also build companion websites for farms who have a storefront on Local Food Marketplace, Farmigo, GrownBy, and other specialized e-commerce platforms for farms. Not sure which platform is right for you? Don’t worry! We’ll help you decide what will work best for your farm’s needs, and we can also connect you directly with the specialty platforms for demos.

What Our Clients Say

Farm Website Pricing

How pricing works

We charge a one-time fee to build the website. You’re not locked in to a long-term contract with us and there are no ongoing fees to Grapevine unless you choose to hire us for ongoing support.

The budget ranges below are meant to help you determine whether we might be a fit. After we meet to discuss your needs, we’ll provide pricing tailored to your site. We can collaborate on a strategy to fit your budget, making the best use of the funds you have available — or we can give you the price to do everything you envision.

Budgets are valid as of October 2025, but subject to change at any time.

Package A: Non-ecommerce Website
($3,800 - $9,000+)

This website package is ideal if you only sell in person, or if you need a website designed to drive traffic to a separate storefront that you already have set up (Local Food Marketplace, Farmigo, GrownBy, etc.).

  • Perfect for farms, food hubs, and local food businesses. (This package is only available to businesses selling products, because it uses templates we've strategically designed for that!)

  • We’ll provide a fill-in template to help you write and organize your text, following our proven framework to drive sales (includes SEO tips!). We’ll customize one of our templates to your brand look and feel, build the site, make revisions based on your feedback, then launch it and train you on maintaining it. We’ll also be available if you choose to hire us for ongoing support.

  • This package starts at $3,800 for a basic site with 4-7 standard pages, and can go up to $5,000 - $9,000+ if you want to add extra pages and features (which many farms and food businesses do). Check out our Squarespace website templates, and you’ll also see there which pages are included vs. add-ons.

Common add-ons to the $3,800 starting price include:

  • Interactive harvest calendar or produce guide (adds $1,400 - 2,400+)

  • Robust, filterable recipe area (adds $1,400 - 2,400+)

  • Increasing page count to 8-12, including consulting to plan site structure (adds $1,200 - 2,400+)

  • Extra help with writing, editing, organizing text, or SEO  ($1,200 - 3,400+)

  • Email marketing - basic setup ($1,400+)

Package B: DIY E-commerce Website
($3,200 - 4,400+)

This is our most budget-friendly e-commerce website package, ideal if you are moderately tech savvy, comfortable learning new tools, and at a point where you’d rather invest time than money. We create the sample products and shell website tailored to your farm branding, then provide coaching to guide you through building it out. Available in Shopify, Grazecart, and Square. Starts at $3,200 and can go up if you add special functionality — read more.

Package C: E-commerce Website
($6,900 - 18,000+)

A robust e-commerce website built on Shopify, Square, or Grazecart. Perfect for farms and other food businesses selling online.

  • This package usually lands around $8,400 - 18,000+ depending on which add-ons are needed. It can also be as low as the $6,900 base price, which includes basic e-commerce configuration and 4-7 standard pages up. That base price can be a fit for beginning farms and others who don’t need all the extras.

Common page add-ons to the $6,900 base price include:

  • Interactive harvest calendar or produce guide ($1,400 - 2,400+)

  • Robust, filterable recipe area ($1,400 - 2,400+)

  • Increasing page count to 8-12 ($1,200 - 2,400+) or adding non-standard pages ($400+). To get an idea of which pages are included vs. add-ons, check out our website templates

  • Extra help with writing, editing, organizing text, or SEO  ($1,200 - 3,400+)

  • Subscriptions/recurring orders ($800 - 2,000+)

  • Bundles with shared inventory ($1,200)

  • Complex shipping needs ($400 - 1,200+)

  • Herdshare ($1,400 - 2,400+)

  • Buy-down CSA ($800)

  • This website package includes transactional emails that automatically notify the customer of details relating to their order, but does not include setup of a separate email platform like Klaviyo or Drip for email newsletters, welcome series, and other automations. Email/SMS marketing setup ranges from $1,400 - 6,400+.

Less common add-ons: Enterprise-level needs, addressing multiple lines of business, senior project manager, custom design, intensive collaboration/revision (adds $3,000 - 20,000+)

Refresh or Optimize an Existing Site
($3,800 - 18,000+)

This package only applies if you are not changing website platforms.
If you
are switching platforms, you can jump right in with Package A or C above!

Surprisingly, refreshing an existing website does not necessarily cost less than creating a new website, because depending on the situation it can actually take more hours.

Package A and C are starting points for website design refresh, search engine optimization (SEO), and other optimizations. From there, these are the factors that influence budget:

Do we need to make edits directly in your live site (vs. starting with a separate hidden draft website)?

  • Making live edits is sometimes the case with Shopify, depending on how much we’re updating e-commerce, and it is always the case with Grazecart. In those scenarios, we’ll be editing the live site. Look at Package A or C and increase the budget by 20-40%. The amount of the increase will depend in part on how detailed of a review process you’d like for looking at changes before they go live vs. providing feedback and requesting edits after they go live.

  • We won’t need to make edits directly in your live site if your site is on Squarespace or Square, or if you’re on Shopify and not making major changes to e-commerce. In this case, look at Package A or C — those ranges are likely to be a fit.

Package A vs. Package C:

  • Will we be helping with just graphic design, basic SEO, and conversion rate, but not changing e-commerce configuration? Look at Package A to get an idea of budget, and pay special attention to page count and extra features.

  • Will Grapevine be doing the above and also dialing in e-commerce configuration, or do you want to add or change anything about how your online sales work? Look at Package C to get an idea of budget.

Think Grapevine might be a fit? Book a call. There’s no obligation to hire us, but this gives us an opportunity to talk through the possibilities together and answer your questions!

Website Additions
($1,200 - 3,600+)

If you have an existing website and just want to add a new page or feature, we can help with that, too. Budgets vary quite a bit based on your needs.

Want an estimate? Book a call. We’d love to hear about what you have in mind.

Need a lower budget option?

We believe it pays to invest in a professional website, because the success of all other marketing hinges on having a strong site (if you’re selling online). But if that’s not an option and you have time to invest, you can DIY on platforms like Square* or Shopify* (both recommended for e-commerce), or Squarespace* (not recommended for e-commerce, but great if you’ll have a separate online storefront). You can also look at Barn2Door, which is storefront software that includes website setup in their small one-time setup fee.

Once your site is set up, be sure to check back with us on farm marketing!
