Our team has decades of experience working for the “big guys”, and we use it to create successful, cost-effective marketing solutions for our local food clients across the United States and Canada. Our strategic approach blends technical expertise, creative ideas, and a passion for local food. Our team of experts pulls from their diverse food business backgrounds to creatively problem-solve with our clients.

Sarah Highlen founded Grapevine Local Food Marketing in 2016 after spending 17 years in the marketing industry, building diverse experience in website design and digital marketing. A longtime advocate for local food, Sarah began assisting with marketing for a friend’s farm. This work had a tremendous impact on the farm’s sales, and the idea for Grapevine Local Food Marketing was born.

Grapevine has grown into a full team of local food marketing professionals, each bringing their own perspective garnered through years of focused work, with backgrounds in everything from farming and butchery to Master’s Degrees in graphic design and marketing.

As a company, Grapevine Local Food Marketing prioritizes learning and training, seeking certifications with the platforms we recommend, in addition to investing hundreds of hours in teammate training annually. Grapevine is a Local Line Certified Partner, a GrazeCart Recommended Consultant, a Shopify Partner, Square Online Certified, a Squarespace Circle member, a Drip Partner, a Klaviyo Partner, and Mailchimp Certified.
